To book, they only have to input the date, time and number of people. Personal data is pulled direct from the Matterhorn app account and doesn’t have to be provided again for each reservation. This allows visitors to make a booking at any time. Hosts benefit too: reservations processed via the app reduce the administrative load. The reservation can be seen direct in aleno, cover take-up is automatically increased and so-called “no shows” are reduced, as it is impossible to make duplicate bookings. aleno restaurants can also decide whether the user has to provide credit card details when making a reservation, or not, which means they can deduct fees for no shows according to their own criteria. All things considered, communication with the customer is optimised and satisfaction increased.
